About the Federation

Official Governing Body for 7-A-Side Football in India

Incorporated in 2022 (CIN: U92490DL2022NPL404122), the All India 7 A Side Football Federation operates as a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Our mandate is to develop and regulate the fast-growing format of 7-a-side football nationwide.

The federation's headquarters are located in New Delhi, with regional offices being established in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Chennai to ensure pan-India reach and effective grassroots implementation.

We work in collaboration with state sports authorities, educational institutions, and corporate partners to create a sustainable ecosystem for 7-a-side football that focuses on youth development, competitive excellence, and community engagement.

Our Journey

July 2022

Federation officially incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 with registration number U92490DL2022NPL404122. Initial founding committee formed with representatives from 8 states.

December 2022

First official rules and regulations for 7-a-side football in India published. Memorandum of Understanding signed with Sports Authority of India for development cooperation.

March 2023

Launch of "7s Grassroots Program" in 15 states. First national coaching certification workshop conducted with 120 participants.

August 2023

Inaugural All India Inter-State 7s Championship held in Delhi with participation from 22 states. Maharashtra emerged as champions.

January 2024

Partnership announced with Football Sports Development Limited. Digital player registration portal launched, registering 15,000 players in first three months.

Present

Expanding to all 28 states and 8 union territories. Planning first international friendly matches with neighboring countries' 7-a-side teams.

20 Dedicated 7s Pitches – Under construction in 8 states
Floodlight Facilities – For evening training and matches
Community Centers – Integrated with pitches for holistic development
Equipment Banks – Providing kits to underserved communities

Our goal is to have at least one dedicated 7-a-side facility in every district of India by 2030.
